Dr. Denise De Los Santos is a Board Certified Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) physician specialist at UT Health RGV. She attended PSJA North High School and was accepted into the Medical School Early Acceptance Program, which allowed her to enroll in The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio at age 20. She then received her Medical Degree (M.D.) from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2010 and completed her OB/GYN Residency training at New York Downtown Hospital and Danbury Hospital in 2014.
Dr. De Los Santos joined The University of Texas of Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine Faculty in 2017 and currently serves as Co-Director of 3rd-year Medical Student Clerkship and Module Director for the 2nd year medical student Female Reproductive Module. She is also Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Her clinical interests include resident breastfeeding education, patient-centered care in general obstetrics and gynecology and health care knowledge advocacy.
Outside of medicine, Dr. De Los Santos enjoys singing, cooking, traveling, watching historical fiction movies, and going to the beach.
