Dr. Lori Acosta Berry is a board-certified Pediatrician and Hospitalist at UT Health RGV. She has over a decade of experience in her field and is dedicated to offering compassionate care for children in the Rio Grande Valley.
Dr. Acosta Berry earned her Master of Public Health (MPH) with a specialization in Health Policy and Management from Texas A&M University Health Science Center in 2005. She received her medical degree (MD) from Texas A&M College of Medicine in 2008 and completed her residency in clinical and anatomic pathology at Texas A&M Health Science Center.
Dr. Acosta Berry began her career as a Clinical Laboratory Assistant in Clinical Pathology at Arlington Memorial Hospital's Department of Laboratory Medicine. She then served as a Medical Technologist at Scott & White Hospital's Department of Laboratory Medical Transfusion Services. Subsequently, Dr. Acosta Berry became the Associate Director and Clinical Assistant at Surgical Renewal & Aesthetics in Cedar Park, providing clinical services.
In 2019, Dr. Acosta Berry joined the UTRGV School of Medicine and now serves as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, educating and training the next generation of physicians.
