Maria de Jesus Munoz is a board-certified Family Medicine Doctor at UT Health RGV. She is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is dedicated to serving patients in the Rio Grande Valley.
Dr. Munoz earned her medical degree at The University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston and completed her family medicine residency at The University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. Since then, she has practiced in many community settings and underserved populations.
Before joining UT Health RGV, Dr. Munoz was employed by the State of Texas and provided primary care services in the outpatient setting. Prior to this, she was a private practice physician in San Benito. She was also an active participant in The University of Texas Health Science Center, serving as the Regional Site Clerkship Director for the Family Medicine Clerkship in Harlingen.
Dr. Maria de Jesus Munoz is currently completing her Master's in Academic Medicine and is interested in curriculum development.
