Biography

Dr. Ramsis Benjamin is a Neurologist at The UTRGV Institute of Neuroscience (ION) in Harlingen, TX. 

He obtained his medical degree from Rush University in Chicago, and he completed his training at The University of Southern California, Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and Massachusetts General Hospital – Harvard Medical School.

In addition to serving as a Neurologist for UT Health RGV, Dr. Benjamin serves as a Professor of Neurology at The UTRGV School of Medicine, Program Director for The UTRGV Neurology Residency Program, and Neurology Administrative Editor-in-Chief for StatPearls – the largest and most comprehensive e-Learning resource in the world.

Dr. Benjamin cares for patients with a wide range of neurological symptoms and disorders by collaborating closely with both the patient and referring physician to develop an accurate diagnosis and personalized treatment plan informed by the latest advancements in neurology.
