Lieutenant Colonel Vicente Bautista is a Physician Assistant (PA) at UT Health RGV. He graduated from Edinburg North High School and pursued his bachelor’s degree from the University of Washington MEDEX program in 2005. He then earned his Master of Physician Assistant Studies Degree from the University of Texas-Pan American in 2008. Bautista is a member of the American Academy of PAs, the Rio Grande Valley PAs Society, and the Society of Army PAs. He is active in the Texas Army National Guard with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel (LTC). With a background in Tactical, Urgent Care, and Family practice, he believes that a patient-centered approach and a dedicated team are essential in improving patient care and outcomes.
