Alex Alejandro, PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, is a licensed Physical Therapist at UT Health RGV specializing in orthopedic rehabilitation, sports performance, and return-to-sport care.
Alex began his career as a Physical Therapist Assistant after graduating from South Texas College (STC) and earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB). He is a fellowship-trained physical therapist, a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT), and holds certifications in dry needling and running gait analysis.
His practice emphasizes evidence-based care, advanced manual therapy, and objective movement analysis to restore function, reduce injury risk, and optimize performance. He works with individuals of all activity levels, helping them achieve their goals and return to the activities that matter most to them. Alex is committed to improving access to high-quality physical therapy and enhancing the health of the Rio Grande Valley community.
