A UT System Employee Benefits Program for
Employees and Covered Spouses Enrolled in UT SELECT
UT System's Preventive Care Incentive Program (PCIP) applies to employees and covered spouses enrolled in the UT Select Medical Plan.
As part of UT SELECT, you have access to an annual preventive exam at no cost when received from an in-network provider.
Through UT System's PCIP, eligible employees and covered spouses enrolled in UT SELECT can waive the new $50 Standard Premium Differential applied to the monthly medical premium by completing a qualifying annual preventive exam.
What You Need to Know
If you are enrolled in UT SELECT as of August 31, 2026, complete a qualifying preventive exam between February 2026 and February 28, 2027, to waive the $50 monthly premium differential beginning with the May 2027 paycheck.
New to UT SELECT on or after September 1, 2026?
Your deadline may be different. Visit the UT System PCIP website or review the PCIP FAQs for your applicable deadline and program requirements.
PCIP applies to employees and covered spouses enrolled in UT SELECT. Dependent children are not required to participate.

Need to Schedule Your Preventive Exam?
UT SELECT members may complete their qualifying preventive exam with an eligible in-network provider. UT Health RGV is available as a local option for employees and covered spouses who need to schedule an annual preventive exam.
Annual preventive exams can help identify health concerns early, keep recommended screenings up to date, and establish an ongoing relationship with a primary care provider.
