Haritha Mapakshi is a Family Nurse Practitioner with UT Health RGV's Cancer Care team. She earned both her bachelor’s degree and her master’s degree in nursing from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania, and is board certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
With a background in primary and pediatric care, Haritha brings a broad perspective to oncology practice. She is dedicated to patient-centered care, education, symptom management, and supporting patients and their families throughout the treatment journey. Passionate about improving access to high-quality cancer care, Haritha is committed to serving the Rio Grande Valley community with compassion, excellence, empathy, and evidence-based care to patients undergoing cancer evaluation and treatment.
