Dr. Herbert J. Nassour is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon at UT Health RGV. Dr. Nassour utilizes the latest medical advancements and techniques in Plastic, Cosmetic, and Reconstructive surgery to improve the quality of life for women and men in the RGV.
As a Plastic & Reconstructive specialist at UT Health RGV, Dr. Nassour provides cosmetic/aesthetic services in breast augmentation, Botox®, eyelid surgery, facelifts, fillers, nose shaping, liposuction and tummy tuck along with reconstructive procedures such as breast reconstruction, breast reduction, scar revision, tumor removal and more.
Dr. Nassour is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and has over 20 years of expertise in providing advanced medical care to patients. Additionally, Dr. Nassour is a Fellow member of the American College of Surgeons and has been awarded “The Best Doctors in America - Central Region - Plastic Surgery Award” for 16 consecutive years.
Dr. Nassour received his Medical Degree (M.D.) from Texas Tech University Health Science Center School of Medicine and completed his General Surgery Residency training at the R.E. Thomason Hospital, also affiliated with Texas Tech University. After his General Surgery residency, Dr. Nassour continued his medical education and completed a Plastic Surgery Residency at The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Dr. Herbert Nassour joined the UTRGV School of Medicine Faculty in 2019 and currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Surgery while providing outstanding health care for patients in South Texas daily.
