Dr. Martha Solis is a board-certified Internal Medicine Specialist at UT Health RGV and an Assistant Professor of Internal Medicine at the UTRGV School of Medicine. She has over 4 years of experience and speaks both English and Spanish. She specializes in adult medicine and is trained to manage patients with multiple and complex conditions in both the inpatient and outpatient settings and in underserved communities.
Dr. Solis has a special interest in academic medicine and is a passionate advocate of resident wellness. She was recently awarded the national 2023 ECFMG J1 Physician Well-being Grant. Dr. Solis also enjoys working in research and quality improvement and has presented in regional and national conferences including ACP and ACG.
Dr. Solis attended the Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon School of Medicine in Monterrey, Mexico, and graduated valedictorian in 2019. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the UTRGV-DHR Internal Medicine Residency Program in Edinburg, Texas, in 2023. Subsequently, she served as PGY4 chief resident of Internal Medicine from 2023-2024 at the UTRGV-KMC Internal Medicine Residency Program in Weslaco, Texas.
