Meghan Lara is a certified Physician Assistant in the Department of Orthopedics at UT Health RGV. She earned her bachelor's degree from Texas A&M University in 2018 and her master's degree from UTRGV in 2024.
With a clinical background in physical medicine and rehabilitation and emergency medicine, she brings a well-rounded approach to patient care. Her experience has shaped her passion for helping patients overcome musculoskeletal challenges, regain mobility, and return to the activities they enjoy.
She believes that quality healthcare begins with listening, understanding each patient's unique needs, and working together to develop individualized treatment plans. Meghan is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their care. She looks forward to serving the RGV community and making a meaningful difference in her patients' quality of life.
